For this installment of our “100 Days of Halloween” rollout, we’ll take a break from our monster/creature profiles. Don’t worry, we’ll get back to those soon as we have a TON of monsters to pull out from under the bed, or the closet, or…wherever monsters are hiding in your house.
Today we will list 10 movies we feel are worth another look this Halloween season. Now, mind you, this is not a “TOP TEN…” or “BEST OF…”. Simply a list of good flicks worth revisiting. Some classic, some modern, etc.
So, here’s our list of recommended movies to revisit this Halloween season (and these are in no particular order either):
10. Children of the Corn
Who isn’t creeped out by a religious cult of children wanting to kill everyone over the age of 18. Based on a short story by Stephen King, the king of horror!
9. The Others
A great modern ghost story with a classic feel. Creepy, well-acted, and worth the watch for the first time or a reprise.
8. Sleepy Hollow
Johnny Depp. Headless horseman. Nuff said. 😀
7. A Nightmare on Elm Street
Sleep tight, don’t let the bed bugs…cut you!
6. Night of the Living Dead
Another classic, and for all you zombie lovers out there.
5. The Thing
This may show up again later, but @MichaelMcGannon said it MUST be on this list.
4. Salem’s Lot
Watch it with someone you can snuggle with. No, seriously.
3. The Lost Boys
This list wouldn’t be complete without this one. Sing with me now, “Thou shalt not kill…” (Earworm! You’re welcome!)
2. The Village
Just a great film, and one that probably a lot of people have forgotten in the mix of M. Night’s recent box office flops. Careful what you go looking for!
1. Bram Stoker’s Dracula
Did you really think we’d leave this one off. As a matter of fact, let’s watch this a few times this season, shall we?
There you go. Enjoy, and get caught up on these as we will have a couple more lists in the coming weeks for you to ponder. We want you to be all “scared up” come October 31st…hehe.

Happy Halloween 2014!
