Events

D.C. & Michael (The Monster Guys) have traveled extensively sharing their trademark mix of humor, pop culture, folklore, storytelling and comedic improv with audiences everywhere.

Over the past several years they have been seen by thousands at shows and conventions such as Wizard World, Anime Fest Wichita, Emerald City Steampunk Expo, Tokyo in Tulsa, GlitchCon, and Zombie Fest.

“We loved having you guys there and I could tell our attendees loved it too. We’d be happy to have you back at a future show…” Brittany Walloch, Wizard World Comic Con, El Segundo, CA

“That was some of the funniest stuff I’ve seen in a panel.” (Feedback from the panel “Monsters In Our World” presented at GlitchCon, Arkansas)

“It was a real pleasure to have D.C. and C. Michael McGannon (The Monster Guys) as featured guests at the Emerald City Steampunk Expo. Not only were they engaging and interactive they were entertaining, very friendly. Their panels were very well run (a bonus for us) and very well received (a bonus for the patrons). They are more than just Authors, they are entertainers. It would be a pleasure to have them back, Not only for Emerald City but also for our other events.” Holly Crain, Director, Emerald City Steampunk Festival

D.C. & Michael are also regulars at libraries for signings and talks about folklore, monsters, and mythology, and their writing even inspired a national library support campaign several years ago.

“You guys were great! Best panel by far! Let me know of you guys have stuff happening around here and we will definitely come see you guys.” (Feedback from the panel “Yokai: Classic, Creepy, and Outrageous Monsters in Japanese Culture” presented at Tokyo In Tulsa)
